林靈（原姓陸）是劉家昌老師的門生，劉老師教出來的學生，在歌壇上都有一定的實力，不只是林靈，楊林也曾在劉家昌老師門下學習，後在歌壇佔有一席之地。其實林靈的歌聲不錯，也有在戲劇上演出，但還是最難忘情於唱歌。
沒錯，林靈原名陸麗櫻，林靈這名字是劉家昌取的，只是劉老師收林靈當學生後，沒多久就去美國了，林靈就在演藝圈自己努力打拼，只是她的星途並沒有很順，導致雖有實力，但卻無法在演藝圈上有一席之地，也謝謝你對林靈的喜愛與支持😊

其實我認為她出道有點晚了，那時國語歌已開始轉型，她的唱腔也許不適合民歌風，如果跟鳳飛鳳等同時期，也許會很紅，就未逢對的時機
